The Ceibo tree (pronounced SAY-BO) is the national tree of Argentina. Also referred to as the cockspur coral tree, the flowers are bright orange red and symbolize the vibrant culture, passion and history of the Argentinean people.

Ceibo Design LLC has experienced project managers, web and print designers, programmers, writers, and proofreaders. All are fluent in English and Spanish and live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Sarah Johnson

Sarah has more than twenty years of experience in providing creative services management primarily to the financial services, computer manufacturing, furniture and B2B publishing industries in the United States.

She is founder and chief executive officer of Ceibo Design LLC, an organization specialized in creative outsourcing to US companies from Argentina. Services offered include interactive and web design, mobile solutions, video, gaming, digital, print, branding, and Spanish language translation tapping talent from Latin America. Sarah began her career in New York working with Charlex, an award-winning commercial production house on the New Cherry Coke account and with ABC’s Wide World of Sports on the Ironman World Triathlon Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Sarah worked at Twentieth Century Fox in Los Angeles on “The Tracey Ullman Show” and on the television show “Dallas” for Lorimar Studios.

Thereafter she spent 8 years in TV and film production working for various studios and production companies. Following her time in Hollywood, Sarah worked in graphic design and photography for the San Francisco Mart, learning all aspects of design and print production. Thereafter she moved to Boston and built and managed an international creative team at Reed Elsevier in Boston for computer manufacturing client Digital Equipment Corporation. Previously Sarah held the position of Managing Editor at Inc. magazine’s custom publishing division, and was responsible for the oversight of books, manuscripts and high-end newsletters for Fortune 500 clients.

Sarah spent 11 years managing studio operations in print, web and multimedia for Fidelity Investments and State Street Global Markets. There she was responsible for sourcing and hiring creative talent and overseeing all aspects of creative output for marketing communications. She has a certificate in Web Design and Usability from The Interactive Factory and holds a degree in Semiotics from Brown University.

Jorge Colazo

Jorge Colazo trained as a chemical engineer and spent six years in Argentina’s oil, food, beverage and cosmetics industries. Thereafter, he was hired to help build a new Toyota vehicle assembly plant from the ground up and equip it for high-tech manufacturing.

When the factory reached full operation, he was responsible for 700 human employees and an assembly line of robotic painters and welders. Jorge's approach to consulting is hands-on, and benefits immensely from his previous experience working with Toyota.

Until May 2008, Jorge was an assistant professor at Suffolk University in Boston where he taught at the Sawyer School of Management; his research focused on team collaboration and ties. A native of Buenos Aires and currently a professor of Operations Management for University Torcuatro Di Tella, Jorge consults with Ceibo at the programming and operations levels, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Jorge has a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Argentina, an MBA from Instituto para el Desarrollo Empresario de Argentina (IDEA), and a PhD in Operations Management from the Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario, Canada.
